The CIRCOGRAPH family along with the sensor systems by Institut Dr. Foerster (Germany) delivers advanced ECT inspection solutions with high efficiency and reliability. For detecting longitudinal defects, the system uses non-contact type sensors in a rotating head (Ro) that scans around the test object at high speeds. Thanks to the small sensor design, the system achieves exceptional sensitivity, making it capable of identifying even the tiniest defects. Due to the high RPM and superior sensitivity, material can be tested at 6 m/s for flaws as small as 30 μm for test material with superior surface finish.

Along with the Ro, the electronics can be interfaced with encircling coils to identify transverse and hole-like defects on the surface of the test material. The coils are available is wide diameter range from 1mm to 240mm to suit the requirement. To optimize testing for ferrous, non-ferrous, and materials with ferrous content, the system offers a selection of specialized sensor systems.
